Each award is for $5,000. Current full-time matriculated students are eligible to apply. Applicants may not be on academic notice, probation, or dismissal. A student may not win more than one travel award during their academic career at MassArt. These awards can be considered taxable income, but should not have any bearing on your financial aid package.
Donis A. Dondis Travel Fellowship
Is awarded to a junior or graduating senior for completing a well-defined project having artistic merit or for the purpose of defraying the cost of entering and attending a school outside the United States. You can apply if you plan to be sponsored by an institution outside of the United States.
Morton Godine Fellowship
Is awarded to a junior or graduating senior to help defray the cost of traveling for the purpose of completing a well defined project having aristic merit.
Warner Travel Award
Is granted to a rising senior for the summer before their senior year to help defray the cost of traveling for the purpose of completing a well defined project having aristic merit.
Each of these awards will require the following application materials:
- 1 or 2 page proposal, describing the project
- a realistic budget
- images or clips, either submitted in an electronic portfolio or as a link to your website
- 2 references (not letters of recommendation. If selected, your references will be reached via telephone).
