On Campus Catering: Chartwells - Ordering and Payment Procedures
In situations where departments want to order items that are not included in the Chartwells online catering tool, the Chartwells Catering Special Order Form must be completed and submitted to Chartwells Director of Catering Deb Flohr (Deborah.Flohr@compass-usa.com) at least seven (7) business days prior to the event. Chartwells will then provide a formal quote to the contact person on the Catering Special Order Form.
Occasionally Chartwells will be unable to cater an event and will notify MassArt's Administrative Services Division with approval to seek an outside caterer. Administrative Services will then notify the contact person on the Catering Special Order Form of Chartwells decision. MassArt departments should not contact outside caterers without first receiving this approval.
In instances where food is being donated, Administrative Services needs to be notified at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com of the food donation at least one week prior to the event. Notification to Administrative Services should include all available information, such as event date, description, and donating company's list of items/value of donation. Administrative Services will respond with further guidance after review.
