Committees
Faculty members, students, and administrators participate in the decision-making process at the college. Written charges to establish new or revised policies, curriculum, and academic reorganization must be addressed to the chairperson of the All College Committee and submitted through academic affairs. The All College Committee and its standing committees are comprised of administrators assigned by the president, faculty members assigned by the president of the Faculty Association, and student members elected by the students.
Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. is an open period when no classes are scheduled. Every other Wednesday has been reserved for governance, many governance committees meet during this time slot. For 2012-13, these Wednesdays are as follows:

- November 14 and 28

- February 13 and 27
- March 6 and 20
- April 3 and 17
