Internships

An internship is a form of experiential learning that integrates knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional setting. Internships give students the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in professional fields they are considering for career paths; and give employers the opportunity to guide and evaluate talent. The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE)

Massachusetts College of Art and Design offers students enrolled in a degree program the opportunity to register and receive 3 Studio Elective Credits towards your degree for your internship. To qualify, the internship would need to meet the basic guidelines and be approved for credit. Please read through the key guidelines below.

Contact Rebekah Wright, Internship Manager, (617) 879-7354,  with any questions as the information here may not cover every situation.  We can also assist with resumes, finding an internship, registering for credit, or what is required during your internship.
