Network Status
The mission of the MassArt infrastructure group is to design, maintain, secure and operate a state-of-the-art, campus-wide, data network to serve the academic community of MassArt. This includes internal connectivity as well as external access to the Internet.
The network infrastructure at MassArt consists of high-speed ethernet switches in each of the buildings interconnected by high-speed fiber connections. Infrastructure is also responsible for the operation of a distributed, highly redundant DNS, DHCP, and wireless architecture.
Other responsibilities of infrastructure group includes Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, as well as an extension for the Helpdesk.
