Commuter Programs

Dear MassArt Students,
It is hard to believe that the summer is almost over and move-in day is approaching. Many of you have chosen to live in the neighborhoods in and around Boston. In an effort to help you make a smooth transition into your apartment, I would like to share some information with you.
- It is important that you know and understand your rights and responsibilities as a tenant. Rental Housing Resource Center can answer questions for tenants and help resolve problems with landlords: cityofboston.gov/rentalhousing/
- The following website will provide you with information relevant to students living in Boston: cityofboston.gov/students/
- Please join the Facebook group 2009 Boston Student Move-In Group dedicated to students moving-in around Boston. Log in to Facebook and search for the group.
- MassArt prides itself on having a good relationship with our neighbors on Mission Hill. On September 1 you will see MassArt faculty and staff on the hill wearing MassArt T-shirts. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask these people for assistance.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Best wishes for a successful move-in.
Sincerely,
Jamie Glanton Costello
