Counseling Services
Counseling Services is located on the second floor of the Kennedy building. We offer free short-term psychotherapy (up to 4 semesters, if appropriate), evaluation, psycho-educational programming, testing, and other resources to our students. A student can be seen within a week; in emergency cases, a student can be seen immediately.
Clinical Training Opportunities
MassArt Counseling Services offers a training program for a second-year social work student, doctoral students and post-doctoral candidates. The training involves weekly individual and group supervision, a training seminar, and peer supervision. Trainees work with MassArt students in individual counseling and may have an opportunity to lead support groups and develop wellness programs for students.
